Using the training and mentoring resources shared with students of The Lauchpad, we give graduates an advantage in practical knowledge and professionalism over their peers. Skip the training expense and growing pains new hires experience in the “school of hard knocks.” Sponsors will harness the potential of the next generation of Launchpad professionals that understand:

• How to realiably deliver results without micromanagement

• How to work together with teammates, bosses, and colleagues

• How to calibrate feelings and needs in a professional setting

• How to think critically, independently, and proactively

• How to bring passion and loyalty to their job

HOW IT WORKS

The Launchpad has space for up to 40 participants. Each must be 18-years-old or more and at least a senior in high school or enrolled in a college or trade school. Participants are accepted through school recommendation or local business recommendation. Scholarships are available via sponsorship.

PHASE 1: The Launchpad begins wth an intensive three-day weekend that will cover the life skills we think we know but don’t. How to really manage time, finances, people. How to build and exude confidence. How to dress for success. How to become a critical thinker. How to network, communicate, and work with others.

PHASE 2: Following the intensive weekend, each Launchpad participant will become part of a Group Coaching and Mastermind. Group that meets twice per month for four months. They will also participate in two corporate and two local business site visits.

PHASE 3: Graduates will conclude with a 2-day graduation program where they will be matched with a mentor experienced in the same industry or field each graduate is interested in pursuing. Mentors will assist graduates with navigating their career of choice by introducing them to their own professional network and ambitious support groups cultivated throughout the program.
